Cheeseburger Sliders

These cheeseburger sliders are made with seasoned ground beef, cooked until juicy and flavorful, then layered with melty cheddar cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls. A generous drizzle of sweet-heat honey habanero BBQ sauce adds smoky spice, while crisp Good & Evil pickles bring a bold, tangy crunch. Every bite delivers the perfect balance of savory beef, gooey cheese, sticky sweetness, and just enough heat—ideal for game day spreads, casual gatherings, or an easy weeknight crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
Beef Mixture:
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
- 1 cup Yellow Onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. Avocado Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. Honey Habanero BBQ Sauce
- ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
Topping for Rolls:
- 2 tbsp. Salted Butter
- 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Everything Bagel Seasoning
Rolls and Cheese:
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls; 1 package
- 6 Cheddar Cheese; slices
- ¼ cup Cheddar Cheese; sprinkle
- Good & Evil Pickles
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown.
- Add ground beef and cook until all pink is gone. Remove excess grease by tilting the pan and absorbing it with a paper towel.
- Stin in mayonnaise, Honey Habanero BBQ Sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Using a serrated knife, sliced Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half in the prepared pan of your choice. Lay 6 slices of cheddar cheese over the rolls, distribute the beef mixture evenly. Cover with sprinkle cheese, then set the roll tops in place.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons of butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar and everything bagel seasoning. Microwave for 25-30 seconds, then stir to fully blend. Brush glaze generously over roll tops.
- Place assembled rolls in preheated oven and bake uncovered for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and roll tops are golden. Remove from the oven, cut along roll lines using a serrated knife, and serve hot.
- Enjoy!
