Hatch Chile Cheese Dip

Creamy, zesty, and irresistibly bold—this Hatch Chile Cheese Dip gets a flavor boost from smoky, fire-roasted Hatch chile almonds. Melted cheeses swirl together with roasted Hatch chiles for a rich, gooey base, while the chopped almonds add a surprising crunch and a punch of chile-kissed nuttiness. Perfectly balanced with heat, creaminess, and texture, it’s the kind of dip that keeps everyone reaching back for more chips.

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 4oz can Fire Roasted Hatch Green Chile; chopped (reserve 1 tbsp for garnish)
  • 8 ounces Light Cream Cheese; room temperature
  • ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cup Avocado Mayonnaise (or any mayo is fine)
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • ¼ tsp Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • ¼ cup Fire Roasted Hatch Chile Almonds, chopped*

*All of these products can be purchased at Stewart & Jasper, in-store and online.  

Instructions:

  1. With a fork, blend cream cheese, yogurt and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add garlic, chili powder, onion powder, Hatch Green chiles and Hatch Chile almonds and mix well.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  4. Garnish with reserved Tablespoon of chile peppers and almonds.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
