Almond Butter Brownies

Ingredients: 

  • ¼ cup + 2tbsp cocoa powder 
  • 1 cup softened S&J Natural Almond Butter
  • ½ cup + 3 tbsp S&J Sage Honey
  • ½ cup loosely packed GF rolled oats 
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda 
  • 1/8 tsp salt 
  • S&J Chocolate Disks

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.  
  2. Line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper or grease well, and set aside.  
  3. Process the oats in a food processor until very fine, then stir all ingredients together until smooth.  
  4. Transfer batter to the prepared pan and smooth out with a spatula.  
  5. Once batter is smooth, press chocolate disks into the top.  
  6. Bake 15 minutes on the center rack. They will look underdone when you take them out, but this is okay.  
  7. Let them sit at least ½ hour if you want them extra gooey, or let them sit overnight.  
  8. Enjoy!
