Caramel Apple Waffle Bowls

A delicious individual-sized dessert everyone will enjoy. This recipe is great year-round or to celebrate National Waffle Day which falls on August 24th every year.
Ingredients:
For Waffle:
- 1 ¾ cup Krusteaz Gluten Free Pancake/Waffle Mix
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp S&J Olive Oil
- 2 egg whites
For Topping:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Caramel Sauce
- Sliced apples
- S&J Cinnamon Glazed Almonds; chopped
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Blend all waffle mix ingredients together.
- Batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Pour batter into a lightly greased waffle bowl maker of your choice.
- Cook waffles until steaming stops or until golden brown.
- Once waffle is cool, scoop vanilla ice cream for inside.
- Top with warmed caramel sauce, sliced apple, caramel apple glazed almonds and whipped cream.
- Enjoy!
