The 2012 almond harvest is underway, and Stewart & Jasper expects it to be another record-breaker, the biggest in industry history. Quality should be excellent, perfect for both our trade and retail customers.

The National Agricultural Statistics Service estimated the 2012 harvest at 2.1 billion pounds, slightly beating last years crop. This year we are experiencing a more normal harvest time compared to the past two years.

Can you believe it's been a year?

Our Monterey store has been open for business for a year! Time sure does fly! Especially when you are having fun interacting with customers from all over the world.We have had a great first year and we look forward to many more! When visiting Monterey (with its famous acquarium) or nearby Carmel (with its Pebble Beach and 17-Mile Drive), don’t forget to say hello.

Our Modesto Company Store in McHenry Village, just 3-doors down from Keller’s, brings Stewart & Jasper products to the heart of California’s Central Valley in one of the area’s best known shopping centers. We are in Suite 58 – and of course McHenry Village is at the intersection of McHenry and Briggsmore Avenues.

August 31st: Newman Fall Festival Wine Tasting

Downtown Newman Outdoor Plaza, 6-10 p.m.

We will be pouring our New Jaidyn Apricot Wine! Come and taste the sweet flavors of honeyed apricot.

September 1st & 2nd: Newman Fall Festival

Newman City Park

We will be selling and sampling some of our delicious products at the park all day Saturday and Sunday. The park will be packed with more than 60 booths this year. We are hoping for a great turnout! Stop by and try some samples. Hope to see you there!

September 6th: Edible Extravaganza

Modesto Centre Plaza, 6-9 p.m.

The Center for Human Services is putting on the 26th Annual Edible Extravaganza! This event features the best restaurants, caterers, bakers, confectioners, vintners, beverage purveyors and local growers our area has to offer. If you're a foodie, this is an opportunity for you to enjoy local deliciousness. Stewart & Jasper will have a booth again this year and we'll be sampling our unique, gourmet almonds. Come and support your local businesses! A little advice...bring your appetite!

September 20th: Taste of McHenry Village

1700 McHenry Ave. in McHenry Village, 6-10 p.m.

At Taste of McHenry Village you will find delicious samples, music, live entertainment, wine tasting, a classic car show, and a treasure hunt. Talk about a fun time! This is a night the whole family can enjoy. We will have the store open with delicious samples, and as usual our extensive wine tasting list will be available. Find us in Suite 58!
